Of course this is just what you'd hope, if those targets we want and are holding out for don't come off, we go into another season in a less than ideal situation. I'm willing to give the club the benefit of the doubt based on their willingness to change the "model" but we can't go for another window and not have a first choice striker through the door.

Again I don't disagree, but this is the first time we've seen them willing to break out of only signing u22s. Just think this is the very last chance they've got, but understandable that people are already passed that point.

Having cirkin back is a bonus but, for how long before he's crocked again?.
 
They'd just fucked themselves over by being so stubborn with the idea that we should only pay for players 24 or under. That scouting net returned Rusyn.

Personally I just think with the changes they're seemingly making this is the best chance we have of getting that first team quality striker in.
 
Speakman should be shot with shit, but hang on, what backing does he have from the owner? It's all down to ability to spend money.............

No it’s not, but I will tell you what is…. it’s absolutely his fault for not ensuring that we had a proper experienced CF capable of playing in the Championship since Jan 23.

I get that argument but do you not think he signed atleast 2 last season who he thought would be capable. Not all transfers work out. Its not an exact science. There's no guarantee that Mendy will work, if he does sign.

You also have to recognise that Stansfield deal was done but he changed his mind at the last. That's not Speakmans fault.

Yes and three youngest had a combined age of 59 andin the case of two of them had hardly played any proper men’s football. We signed Kids who were never going to help us achieve our ambitions of reaching at least the play offs. I assume you can remember Speakman saying we wanted to improve from our play off position. We then signed Rusyn who despite what the club rolled out that he can play in a number of forward positions, he might do but he also isn't the answer.
