TBF we were close to getting Will Still and he pissed off somewhere else. We should have had someone in by now. It's every bloody window now. I understand your comment about talks with new owners and he does seem keen to join, but it's just bloody frustrating and i don't tend to speak out. I think clubs in general now (Not just us) see end of August as the deadline (Which it is obviously, but i mean they not in a rush to appease fans or managers alike .

Yeah it's definitely getting frustrating, but you can look at it both ways. At least we aren't just rushing to appease fans and bringing in someone for the sake of it. You would hope that any delay is because they think they can get their top targets but might have to wait.

Of course this is just what you'd hope, if those targets we want and are holding out for don't come off, we go into another season in a less than ideal situation. I'm willing to give the club the benefit of the doubt based on their willingness to change the "model" but we can't go for another window and not have a first choice striker through the door.
