Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)

Don't think so, it'll be seen as 1 of 2 strikers needed. Or the issue will be the level he has come from which is the same level we're at.
What is his injury record like? He better be indestructible if we are making do with one.

Edit: League appearances last 4 seasons:

30, 32, 37, 37

They probably only play 38 a season so he is definitely not a sick note.

You seem to know everything what the club do  . Info is always spot on so fair play.

Any other transfer targets you know about ? Is Egan a no go now?
I don’t really know what’s going on with Egan tbf, I was really clear all along that all I knew was that there was talks and I didn’t know how far they went or how well they went, I’ll keep my fingers crossed though and share anything if I get it - I’d suspect wages could be an issue though vs other clubs who may have an interest.

Tbf, I just have a few good sources, none are from the inside either 😂 so I tend to only share stuff when more than 1 person is saying the same thing because there’s obviously something in it then.

I guess this was aimed at me. Fair enough I guess.

I've always maintained quality over experience

We had Dack and Styles who were experienced but not the quality

I'd take a quality youngster over an experienced player any day if the youngster is better
Yeah we’re actually not a million miles away in what we both think: we agree in the main

However you missed the point of what so many were actually saying. And continuously have little digs. This thread included.

The balance wasn’t right. You still don’t seem to accept that which is fair enough, it’s your opinion. It does go against the footballing community, managers, players and now seemingly the club itself though

Of course quality is important, no one credible was asking for third division 34 year old plodders for the sake of it

Browne and Mendy are a big step in the right direction. Now let’s hope they can show that on the pitch

Yet some still think the fans were wrong about having the wrong balance last season

The football world, managers, players all knew it. And now the club itself.

I’ll leave this here for those posters to find in their own time ;)

I thought that it was less important at the start of the season. Anyone who still thought that by Christmas wasn't paying attention.
