Can't really see the club willing to go past 3m tops, and they'll exhaust all avenues before even getting as high as that figure. They just refuse to pay the going rate and its why we've had the obvious holes in the team for as long as we have.

So far, I've not seen any real intent on strengthening or upgrading the quality of the squad to make a serious push for a play off spot. It looks like we're going to be relying on mostly the same 11 as last season, but with Browne included, and last summers buys stepping up who rarely featured and 1 or 2 leaving.

This fella may not exactly get anyone reaching for the cans in celebration, but there'd no chance we'll be pulling 7/8m out for 1 player, we probably won't spend that amount on 2 or 3.

We only needed about 4-5 signings anyway like. Also pre-season has just started, the window is open until the end of august, plenty of time

"Plenty of time" gets trotted out every year, I've probably even said it myself, going back a few summers.

It's less than 4 weeks to the league kicking off and still no striker.

I think Matete, Embo, Anderson, Hemir, Mayenda, Bennette or even Rusyn will be heading out the door on loan or sold (i'd keep mayenda personally)
