100% he should put that chance away that Jobe put on a plate for him.

He’s a trier but we need much more. He got bullied out of possession pretty much every time we tried to use him as an out ball.

In his defence if you’re desperate for some mitigation, apparently he’s quite quick and not once did we try and play it over the top for him to run on to.

He’s a young lad who’s been put in a situation that he shouldn’t be in and probably has no confidence. He had a good chance keeper made a good save I’m not going to criticise him, he got into a very position and if he continues to do so will eventually start scoring.

Hope the experience he is getting will put him in good stead in the future.

I still think until we get one in we should stick with mayenda. Not need to chop and change. Let him make up for it. I’m just glad we are starting to see the strikers get chances and shots off

Of course i expected him to score, as you would with any striker but im not going to criticise him for the keeper making a good save.

I hope he improves further and gets the help he needs with an experienced head or 2 to take away the burden.

Thought he struggled most of the game poor hold up play out musled poor passing , at the same time I don't think playing with his back to goal is his game , unlucky with his chance think it's too early for him

Think he came onto it too fast, made it so it was telegraphed where he was going. Those kinds of things get ironed out with experience imo, done well to find the space and stay onside beforehand

He's just a young lad and by god he can't lead the line for us throughout the season but he has something about him for his age. Shame he didn't score for his confidence but apart from his 1st shot that went AWOL he got another couple of shots away that were on target if not blocked or saved. Needs limited game time at his age mind
