We looked decent under mowbray even last season. We have added a 1st team quality midfielder with bags of championship experience. We've also added a quality winger as backup. The signings last year all have 1 year experience under their belts and working within the club / championship which will make some of them more effective.

Clearly we need a striker but fuck me it doesnt mean we are horrific just cos of that 1 remaining significant issue.

That team under mowbray with a stronger midfield (browne) and a more experienced forward would have been strong in this league. Its unquestionable. We have that and clearly we are going to sign a striker. So stop pissing ya knickers about everything being terrible. Its not

This squad is mid table at best, we were relegation fodder last season without Clarke and we defs haven't strengthened enough in the right areas to change that. Still no CDM or striker, good chance Clarke will leave late in the window.

Unless RLB gets this team really going I'd seriously worry about a relegation battle this season.

Not blind faith, I don't think the club will dare to fail in this instance basically. Not after what happened last season. They'll be frustrated as we are, but I think they'll get the Mendy deal done and I think we'll bring in another belter or two.

That's how I'm seeing it, like everyone else and their granny I wish we were done and dusted already but I think they will deliver what we need, will go to the wire though.
