Let me just clarify this - what you're saying indicates to me that you expected all of our problems, of which there were many, to be sorted in one transfer window. Is that right? Left back, right back, centre half plus cover, central midfield plus cover, wingers and forwards, all desperately needed in the one window, and you're grumping because with three days to go we're two or three short?

Would it have been better under 'Danny Graham or I'm in the huff' man? How would you gone about this window's business? What would have made you happy, other than reappointing Mon?
No, but it is reasonable to assume that a central midfielder would have been signed and the left back the manager thinks he needs? To glaring gaping holes in the first 11, under the previous and current manager.

. You dare to voice an opinion when no one else does? You may have forgot about white van man, when you shit yourself but we haven't. It isn't about having the bollocks to speak about the club in a negative way, you just don't know any other way
Christ stevie no bollocks thinking he's better than everyone else. I realise now that you will get the arse and post some rolly eyed random shite, but there you go, you made your bed, you pissed it, you lie in it
ive said positive stuff loads of times, but you just focus on me saying the negative stuff instead.

and if you had not noticed, other posters on here are saying worse stuff than me, but you keep focusing on my posts though...

Our recruitment system is way beyond what we had last season. Its undeniable. MON would have flounced off on the spot if he'd had his two main LB targets fall through at the 11th hour. Actually MON wouldn't have had two targets.

You have just made that up, generally speaking everyone was happy with our business last summer. Ironically enough, the biggest shitstorm was when we signed Rose with the world and his wife (me included) claiming he was not up to the job, poor etc.
You have people queuing up to sell their house to get him back.

Not what most fans say at all. There's the ultra-negative "club can do nothing right" people like you at 1 end of the spectrum & the happy clappy "blindly agree with the club no matter what" types at the other but most fans are somewhere in between.
wrong.
ive clearly said that i don't like loans, but if we have no other choice then we'll have to won't we? am i not allowed to say that? even though various other posters have said the same thing?

I think you will find that De Fanti has been the de facto DoF for a lot longer than you realise, twat.

Any criticism, or actually not even that, just a reasonable question on the business, Di Canio, the DoF, the scouts and people go on like you have insulted their mother.

The same people were wetting themselves senseless over loans last year, now it is ok because the new regime will find us somebody in the next 4 months, ignoring that they have had 3 months (longer) to sort out 2 key positions already.

It's been reported that MoN was introduced to De Fanti in march of this year, so while Ellis was probably in contact with him for longer than that, I doubt very much that Alfie signing had anything to do with him. I'd say the fact he was peddled back to Turkey would suggest this is the case.

Like I said somewhere else, I will take notice of people like Perry, Nemo, Rentaghost etc. I can never take you seriously because you are so down all of the time, some are on a wind up, whilst others can offer a balanced opinion. After a while you tend to know who is what on here. That is why I focus on yours rather than the others. I think you will find that I won't be the only one with the same opinion of you. Tough, like I say, you reap what you sow

If you read i think you'll see people were picking you up on the backwards bit not the "i dont like loans" bit. ;)

wages. i thought he was getting better, i can't see anything wrong with him as a player[DOUBLEPOST=1377944991][/DOUBLEPOST]

im not. just saying it how i feel, sorry like.

Besiktas vice-president has been quoted on it, saying that they had agreed terms with Buttner and with Utd on a year-long loan. Seems contingent on Baines coming, like.

We finished last season with one striker, and they haver clearly been after a central midfielder all window - PDC himself said there was a plan in place when Alf left. Was that plan likely to be 'we'll do nothing til three days before the window closes then panic'. Transfers aren't as simple as they're made out to be. Other clubs don't have to accept bids or negotiate, players don't have to sign.

fair enough. i get that many people on here having a pop over anything i say, i lose track a little trying to defend the slightest thing that might offend anyone. gets out of hand

the echo talks shite again. ooooooooooo, i might not be allowed to say that.

I'd take Buttner like. A lot of similarities to the Danny Rose loan, a young lad with a lot to prove. We've got to make sure we get an agreed fee in there though.

Of course it wasn't and it looks like the Korean lad is going to come in and hopefully do well. There must have been a few of these plans gone through the floorboards as there has been plenty of time between departure and arrival.

O' Neill's gone. Sooner or later you're going to have to extract yourself from his arse & get over it because no matter how many times you throw your little temper tantrums he won't be coming back.

As for the people wetting themselves I'm certain that apart from 1 or 2 it's pretty much the same people wetting themselves this year as last year.

So what if they did - the team are clearly still working away at it. Was the solution to work up til a week to go then wave the white flag and give in?

We still haven't established what you would have done facing the same situation.
