Hmm. Wrong on all accountsExcept, unlike flu it can cause lung damage, organ failure, and other long term issues.
Fans faultThis post actually sums up some of our "fans"
We are still in the grips of a world wide pandemic.
People are falling by the wayside every few hours. I know our workplace is riddled with it. Be it actually Covid. Or close contacts.
So by the rules in place you have to self isolate.
And then your first thoughts are - You hope he's not another let down - You do right to put FFS in your message.
As that's what we all think when we see you've posted.
This club is actually cursed
Probably because he didn’t have covid 2 weeks agoHow does something like this get picked up 2 weeks after a medical?

Could be a result of COVID?

He's only had mild/no symptoms though hasn't he?
Unsure mate, could still develop a murmur with mild symptoms I guess. It'll likely go when he gets rid of the virus.
Dunno how it works tbh. Can only go off personal experience having a son with one having been born with a hole in his heart.
I'm pretty sure people can pickup mild murmurs from stress or during periods of illness, but they go over time. I think his medical would have picked up something more serious, so it must have developed as a result of catching the virus.
Just typical of our luck really although a murmur in isolation shouldn't be enough to cause any issues. Obviously an underlying problem could (if there is one).
I think it'll be fine mate, I'll be really surprised if it's an underlying issue.
