Totally incorrect. You get 3 months for actually engaging in physical sexual activity with someone aged 13-15. He will get a online ban meaning no internet access for 2 years and counselling. Nowhere near a prison sentence. Also note. the girl will also get the same internet ban.
 
It's morally repugnant, but he hasn't explicitly mentioned sexual activity in the screenshots of the chats I've seen online. Unless there is more it might not meet the legal burden of proof even though the average person knows what he's up to. I'd expect a big play on the language barrier too - asking in a direct translation instead of correct English about how many years she has instead of her age, which she didn't understand, is something a lawyer might well play on.
