Alex Hales - Retired

I find these decisions really really strange

Hales will play till he is 40, and probs at a very high level. He only plays T20 cricket, England basically play non apart from world cups

There is a T20 world cup in Windies and USA in like just over a year, why would you not want to play in that? there is no other cricket going on at the time either.

Which one? He has had no interest in 50 over cricket for years, am pretty sure he would have turned down the offer anyway.
Because he has no further interest in international level as he proved his point by helping to win the T20 World Cup

now it’s full steam ahead with any Franchise cricket anywhere to ensure his comfortable retirement

pretty obvious to me

Already won it

I reckon he’d have gone if asked. Biggest stage innit.

Not convinced marra. Very much is own man Hales.

Could easy have played in a 3 week tournament like

Whats nothing to prove got to do with anything. What does Buttler have to prove?
If you can’t understand a simple point without whataboutery , I’m not playing

I’ve been down this rabbit hole with you too many times

it’s very simple and I’ve posted exactly why. Buttler is the captain , if you missed it

Yeah just like you explained how Crawley couldnt bat or catch.

If you care to look I was over the moon Crawley proved me wrong and posted so on the thread

go and look elsewhere

Its just a lesson to not give so ridiculous over the top criticisms of people

as I explained to you at the time, he scored the fastest ever 100 by an English opener 4 games before the Ashes.

It was not a surprise he did well. Only in your mind.
