"Wednesday and Sunderland battling for Hutton

Alan Hutton has both Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland chasing him.
Aston Villa’s Scottish international full-back, 32, only has 12 months left on his contract.
He faces major competition for the right-back berth at Villa from James Bree and Ritchie De Laet.
It is understood Villa could be tempted to cash in on the defender if they get a decent offer.
Championship rivals Wednesday lead the race but the relegated Black Cats are interested after Hutton had a successful loan there previously.
After another spending spree this summer, including bringing in John Terry, Villa want to move on players to balance the books.
The quartet of Ross McCormack, Gary Gardner, Aaron Tshibola and Tommy Elphick were all left behind from the club’s recent training camp and are available to leave."

We already have three right backs, would be a ridiculous signing. Expect him through the door before the week is out then.

"relegated Black Cats are interested after Hutton had a successful loan there previously." - about 10 years ago, we have finally thought about it and want to BBH

I'm calling bullshit on this one.We have three right backs already who are arguably similar in quality or slightly better. He will be on big wages as well and we know we will have to pick up a big percentage of McCormacks wages if we loan him.
