One was dragging it's owner down the beach yesterday. I seen it late but managed to get my dog on the lead luckily.

It was trying to bite everything that moved.

As a breed, they're known for disliking/mistrusting other dogs and being suspicious of strangers. Supposedly fantastic once they know you but they need an experienced owner and a lot of exercise and discipline.

people need to do bit research when choosing their dogs

these dogs like to dominate and be pack leader , they become increasing frustrated if not using up their energy and they like cold climate (not central heating on)

Beautiful looking dogs, but the size of them you can tell they would do some damage and shouldn't be used as a house dog unless the owners are experienced in handling big dogs

I grew up with 2 German Shepherds but think even an Akita is too big and strong to be able to 100% control
