If we go up, I think he has a year left in him down here with Grayson at Fleetwood. If we don’t, then it would be with us.
Give over, we keep him no matter what, he's by far our best player

If Fleetwood had a forum they would be ranting about not doubling up on the best winger in the league etc.
They did a really good job on him for about half an hour in fairness. They were really quick to close him down and put him under pressure. It showed as he was forced into some errors and made some unforced as a result too. At this level, his class nearly always shines through though and they couldn’t sustain it for the entirety
he causes more trouble for his own club than ANY opposition team
He's not.
He's a knut
Probably in world football I would imagine.Does he have the most assists (League matches) in 2021?
Spot onThe fact of the matter is that McGeady has been our best player since he signed for the club. Even in the championship he was our best player. Created the most, was at the top end of the goal scoring charts, and has provided a bit of entertaining skill in a dire time to support Sunderland.
Ive never understood why some people didn’t like him or were advocating Parkinson’s position or suggesting flogging him. Even when he was bad for us under Parkinson, it was at a time when nearly every other player was worse. He’s a very talented player and Johnson’s best contribution since becoming manager was bringing him back in to the fold

For a while Parkinson had a team better than 10 of a team plus McGeady would be which is what we were under Ross
I’ve already held my hands up and said I was wrong about the lad. I think you’re re-writing a bit here though...

I’ve held the same opinion throughout so there’s no re-writing on my part. McGeady has had a few spells where his form has dipped. That happens with players like him. He remained our most talented player even in those spells. It was poor management when he was cast out.
