Best ever foreign centre forward to play in the premier league ? Yes for me
Just heard on Talkshite hes got a better goals per minute ratio than the likes of Kane and Henry 😮
An outstanding footballer and will rightly go on the Mount Rushmore of modern day Man City alongside Kompany, Silva and Toure.
Toure ?

Not in same league as Kompany/Aguero/Silva when it comes to City legends

4 faces on Mount Rushmore though. Who would you have instead of Toure on the Mount Rushmore of modern day city legends?

Pablo Zabaleta would be my shout to join the MCFC Mount Rushmore Fab 4. He epitomised the blood & guts that fans want from their players.

Kompany was a superb captain and calming influence. A great figurehead who took on most of the media duties.

David Silva was silky smooth and a great provider. He was like a ghost - nobody got near him on the pitch.
Aquero could, and did, score from anywhere. Latterly he adapted to Pep's tactics and became more of a team player.

Yaya Toure blotted his copybook with City fans by never distancing himself from his agent's rants that the club never valued him e.g. not getting him a birthday cake.

If Phil Foden can keep fit, he would be the obvious choice for the next generation.

Toure in 2011/12 and 2013/14 when they won the league was head and shoulders their most important player imo. He was a man mountain who scored goals from midfield, dominated big games, turned defence into attack with great dribbling ability. He wasn't as consistent across seasons as Kompany/Aguero/Silva but his best seasons were better than the best seasons of those three if you ask me.

Nah, Toure was for me, the most complete midfielder I've seen in the Premier League. He was, on many occasions, simply unstoppable.

He came up with countless important goals for City during their title wins. He faded towards the end, but his ability to do it all, defend, progress the ball, score and create goals, makes him one of the best. If you're looking at the modern age of City he was a key driver for them winning titles and establishing themselves.

Agreed.

Toure was absolutely class. He had power, pace, a wicked tackle, a great eye for goal, great passing, and scored some absolute worldies.

Soon as you saw his name on their team sheet, you knew it was gonna be a tough 90 mins

Exactly.

He was also one that could open a game in a second. As you say, maybe it's a bursting run, or a shot from distance, but having that in your locker really is rare.

Remember that rocket of a shot that went into the crowd and sparked some poor bairn out? Brutal.

Scored some worldies but I still say that one at Wembley in the LC final against us was a fluke

Superb player Silva just made it look so effortless
Kompany always came across as a great and a top bloke on and off the pitch
Zabaleta also

Its a close one I agree - but I think the drama of '89 trumps it. Old school crazy fans celebrations, Steve McMahon saying "one minute". It was unbelievable.

‘89 was the best finish to a league, George Graham apparently told the players to stay in with a chance and they’ll score in extra time, Liverpools record at Anfield was incredible too
