Found the opposite. The loggerheads was good crack, like someone's front room. Nice place I thought, just got home bout 10 mins ago

I was in Shrewsbury on Fri and Saturday with a Harley bike club meet. On Fri night we were in the town centre when 5 lads one had the Zebra stripes on the other had Grey matching polo shirts with the scum badge on, I would say they were no more than 19-20 yr old and mouthy
One of our guys from Durham said F off or we would have a word with them, they ran like Feck out of the way.
On Saturday me and the same lad saw them next to the Lord Hill monument we were staying in the Lord Hill Hotel next to it.
They started chucking rocks at 4 SAFC lads who were lost I called the SAFC lads over, but the police arrived 1st , they had been called by a local, 3 of the mags got lifted the other 2 ran off into the park. the lads who were lost met up with the rest of their pals they were from Peterlee.
All ended fine and none of our lot got in any more bother.
I did not see any frisk at the ground before or after the game.

Wtaf is wrong with Newcastle fans ?
Is this type of behaviour unique in the footballing world ?

Nowt like 150
I was at the game in the clockstand paddock
They got pelted with coins when they passed
Probably around 50 - 70
About 50 I would’ve said.
I was unknowingly in the middle of em prior to kick off just in front of the right hand side pillar that held the Fulwell roof up. I was a Roker end regular so wouldn’t have recognised strangers in that part of the ground. Bad vibes made me check around and I saw an ex work mate about 10yds away making weird sort of “ come here you daft get” eye gestures at me.
I went ower and he said I was in with the mags! They’d been rumbled straight away and soon as they revealed themselves about ten mins (?) or so it all kicked off. I’d went further back to get a better view of both “matches”.

Didn’t they go to the ivy house before a derby game and smash all the optics, once again a police escort to the ground when they had the chance to go into the town centre and cause havoc.
Aye.
I was in Chaplins about 12-12:30ish. A Sunderland fan came running in “the mags are in the ivy Haway let’s get them”. We supped off ASAP and charged off...........to The Dun Cow.

The Fulwell only held 8,700 so I think you might be bullshiting the mucker
They did invade early morning in 69/70 ish after coming off the beach in their landing craft they joined up outside the Fulwell.
I was in the Fulwell that day no where near 150, fuckers couldnt get out quick enough, stand up, shout United, then run, why the fuck they were given an escort to The Roker end I dont know, horrible skunky bastards
Totally correct they couldn’t get out quick enough
Well, against teams where trouble is expected we should get organised old hands should turn out for the day and stop the piss taking once and for all.

Business done
Why didn’t they try and stay ?
When they planned it do you reckon their plan was to meet up in the Fulwell and get out at the first sign of trouble ?
They had enough numbers to have had a go at the cage if they wanted to. They just didn’t want to.

A group that size could have potentially chased Sunderland fans out of their own end.
Iirc the crowd was very low that year for a derby game
