i only have 50-60 quid.

biting the bullet now rather than gannin out drinking.
 
get on the photography boards on here, you'll get loads of advice.

The not being funny matey but you`ll get something decent or the same spec in argos or somewhere thats brand new and guaranteed for that money as opposed to refurbed on ebay

like thisour lass got the previous version the x42 and its the dogs doodahs for out and about pics

its argos outlet on ebay mate, got a tv there in november and its ace.

doesnt seem as quality as tthe samsung likie either, but it is 14MP as opposed to 12.

Seconded.

I got my mother's Lumix after it got run over by a taxi.

Fixed it up for about 20 quid and the picture quality is absolutely superb. Does HD video recording as well. Battery lasts well, has a good selection of manual shooting modes, and it's housed in an alloy shell.

If it can take the weight of a taxi, be fixable for 20 quid and still take fantastic pics, Panasonic have a winner IMO!
