affiliates link removed question

i posted some tips i recvd from oddschecker with a link but the link was removed.

sorry, i was not aware that you could not post those sort of links.

does that apply for all links to the oddschecke site? just so i dont do it again

this was on the betting/tips forum
 


Personally, I am not keen on people posting links to affiliate sites like that, as that means that they place a cookie and get a referral fee when people sign up to the bookies rather than RTG and deprives me of cash! - however, I have balance that and accept reality and your link wouldn't normally be deleted just for posting a link to such a site.

What we look for is an affiliate code on the end of the link itself, which means that you personally are getting a referral fee for posting the link on the forums.
The link that was deleted certainly appeared to have an affiliate id tagged on the end. Did you copy it from another website?
