Just checked and he got 5 goals in 11 games.. Was obviously a success.he's just been there on loan iirc so they must have liked what they seen.
Hopefully he goes back over there and does the business then.Just shows that people only follow english football and are ignorant to all other leagues, he was superb for them on loan. For his age amd price its a very good signing
In this day and age it’s a cracking price for someone who has done very well for them in the past. I still struggle to accept that this is the sort of money being thrown around for someone of his ability mind, he’s struggled to have any real impact in the premier league.I predict they’ll sell him on for a sizeable profit either to Bayern or back to England within a couple of years.Just shows that people only follow english football and are ignorant to all other leagues, he was superb for them on loan. He wasn't great for Everton, aye. Didn't help that he had big money players ahead of him in the pecking order that the manager can feel compelled to play instead, he was mostly used as a sub in the last 15 mins of games. In this day and age it’s a cracking price for someone who has done very well for them in the past. Certainly is. Hopefully hits form over there and gets himself into the England squad. More players we’ve got playing in different leagues, the better. Is he English?
I think Everton signed him on the back of the huge hype surrounding him whilst he was at Charlton and viewed it as a no lose situation. They’ve done very little for the lads development but have turned a big profit. Never really given a chance there. Good luck to the lad.He wasn't great for Everton, aye. Scored on his debut against Man City iirc then was restricted to substitute appearances.I think Everton signed him on the back of the huge hype surrounding him whilst he was at Charlton and viewed it as a no lose situation. Pretty sure they paid about 11m for him. Still a decent return.1 goal in 36 games for Everton.. Signing for RB Leipzig in a deal worth up to £22.5M!
Good deal for Everton? He’s only 21 so can obviously improve but he’s done very little in his career so far.
