Take off your labour tainted glasses for a second and realise labour has shafted Sunderland more than any Tory government has, who brought Sunderland's biggest employer (Nissan) to the region, labour??
who closed the mines and the shipyards, it's tribal man, and we're not in their tribe.

How likely do you think it is, you were itk when he signed - PR disaster for the club unless they have some amazing deals lined up, which they obviously wont

wouldn't surprise me mate - any insight as to why?

Not sure. Last I knew he was happy to be closer to his mates and family so guess that is a postive. Currently in Vegas with the lads I think anyway so nowt will be getting discussed unless it's agents just getting the lay of the land.

It gets him off the wage bill but the cost of replacing him makes it a pointless task.

Say AJs on roughly 3m a year, 2m loan fee. We will pay more than 5m to replace him, ridiculous if it happened and my SC would be going to my nephew.

Aye the replacement would cost or they wouldn't be no where near as good.

hope it's bollocks but the Hunter, Fishpaste, the lad on here, and others, think/ hinted there is something in it. He certainly wont be replaced on a like for like basis.

2012/13 we finished 17th
2013/14 we finished 14th + a cup final

Hardly going backwards & both players you refer to were replaced by equally as good if not better.

both spurious as fuck arguments. you know for a fact we only won our last two games, and arsenal needing to beat wigan to ensure a champions league spot, to save us, and a f***ing miracle to save us in the second one, 14th flattered us.

Labour have shut more mines in their tenures than the Tories ever have. As for the ship yards if they are not profitable how can you justify keeping them open? Time to move on folks and stop living in the past!
Time you started supporting Cheltenham Town

If Johnson was a yard quicker he'd be immense. That's my main question mark over him and that's the only reason I'd consider trading him - the team is short of real pace.

On another note, papa smurf is a deluded idiot.

So only labour voters can follow Sunderland, embarrassing repost on your behalf!

What has the local council done for Sunderland in the past 20 years? Yet people continue to vote labour.

It's about time the locals changed and actually stuck in as a collective focusing on knowledge based qualifications instead of having a heavy reliance on blue collar jobs. That way businesses would be more inclined to setup shop in the City and graduates wouldn't have to move away for jobs.

So the Tories bring Nissan and more recently Hitachi to the north east yet they don't care about the working class? Perhaps your referring to cuts in benefits which isn't really "working" class is it?

It's what we do so it wouldn't surprise me. Sell our best players to buy journeymen. If its true then we know nothing has changed.
Bollocks. He ain't Gus s player, he flatters to deceive and is on ridiculous money. Can fully understand the club wanting him off the wage bill to allow the manager to bring his own players in, and there's nothing wrong with that. I'd expect the same re fletcher too
