Abusive messages sent to Borinis girlfriend on Twitter

Like most celebs, its just a portal to make more money. Take the ups with the downs, but the bank account at the end of the month will be healthy. If people go over the top, there are laws in place. Nobody is forced onto social media.
I do agree to an extent about what you're saying. The celebrities of this world have started to rely on social media, to promote themselves, and the companies who sponsor them. It's starting to become more of a way to make money than just to chat to their mates. Some footballers, and their wives keep very low profiles. You don't see them all over Twitter, because they're content with their lot, and just get on with playing the game, and raising their kids. Then you have the attention seeking ones, who post endless drivel on Twitter. Some of the wags are like this too. Obsessed with their own aims of becoming a celebrity, they lean on the success of their partner. It's paramount to these wags, to remain in the public eye, and they thrive on it. They even thrive on some of the bad bits. I think the lad is absolutely smitten with one of this breed of wag, and it looks to me as if she wears the trousers. When you court publicity for publicity's sake, you don't always get what you bargained for. I also think that Sunderland troll is embarrassing the club, and needs sorting out. How though, I couldn't say.

The lad was recently in court for remarks about the 2 Newcastle fans that died. A quick look at his tweeter feed suggests he's a total tosser

1. I dont know why anyone would get wound up by some sackless shithouse giving them stick over the internet.
2. I can't believe people are that crap that they give someone shit on the internet.

On reflection i probably can believe that.

It's not just on Twitter, it's all over the internet. There was a couple of people on here spouting shit about the Newcastle tragedy so it isn't just 1 website. You can't control it, it's impossible, you would need some separate organisation to oversee alot of the websites and when you think about it it's impossible unless you have a grief button and it goes straight to them so they can take a look then take action. People do this because they know they will get away with it and until they bring in someone to look at it then it won't stop unfortunately.

There was a fake account of her i seen yesterday, some people take this football business too seriously! We have no clue what part she had to play if any at all and at the end of the day it's his decision anyway and his life, he owes us nowt.

Send him through Newcastle city center disguised as a horse...

She's not forced to have a Twitter account.

And isn't that the truth, why the fuck she thinks anyone would be interested in her new beauty treatment or getting a parking ticket. Just another vacuous wannabe celebrity.

Ham Wallet :D

Yeah. I'm pretty sure I read about him / that earlier. Slap on the wrist didn't do much good, the bloke's a f***ing tool.

He'll think he's untouchable now, for someone who is a thick as fuck we know how it will end!!

Yes they should expect cheeky comments, but they are not funny and show the person posting the comments for what they are, childish, immature bullies who think they can hide behind the anonymity of a social network account.
The comments are an embarrassment to our club and the decent supporters who wouldn't dream of acting in such a base and puerile manner.
I haven't read or seen everything which was said.
The cheeky comment that I read I chuckled at. If it is pure abuse then there is no need for it.

I only read some of the comments, they were far from cheeky or humorous, they were abusive, threatening and nasty, if I heard someone saying similar things about my wife, I would have been locked up for assault.

That is the internet these days though, yes it's wrong but you won't stop it. You can simply go to the Police if it is threatening but the Police are not going to go after hundreds of people off Twitter for the sake of Borini girlfriend or anybody's girlfriend. If it was your girlfriend they were doing it to then you'd have a hard job in finding them, I think your computer would take most of the damage ;)

You are probably right about the police not been interested in this case unless it was homophobic, racist or constituted a direct threat, but my initial concern wasn't for Borini or his girlfriend, it was for the reputation of decent Sunderland supporters.

Also, I said in my last post that if I "heard someone" I would be locked up for assault. I would never get upset about internet insults or threats, I have no idea who the keyboard warriors are and they have no idea who I am, so what they say has no value.

Its a game of football at the end of the day, people need to get their lives into perspective.
