Aberdeen, the new stag do destination of the UK



I was there last week and yes it is a canny night out and great for day drinking too, went to the BrewDog but no one told us about the hotel.

They've missed out come of the better venues - Krakatoa is not on the list, neither is McNastys or the Globe.

What Aberdeen does have is an abundance of excellent curry houses.

Like I say, go loads but always get there late, sleep, get up, do my stuff then home.

Might have a look at one of the curry houses soon.

Wild Ginger is a new one that has just opened (top end of Union Street opposite Gilmcomston Church) - it's excellent - the same people run another couple of places in Aberdeenshire (Echt & Inverurie). Rishi's on George Street is another very good one, as is Shree Bhreema in Belmont Street.
 
Sure they are giving priority to the Equity for Punk members - so unless you've given them money, can't see anyone getting one of the rooms anytime soon after opening
