If the £55m fee agreed between Palace and Man Utd is to believed that seems incredible price to pay and instantly puts Trent Alexander-Arnold in £90-100m category

utd are horrendously badly run-they released their main player in that positon-so have no one-so palace can have their eyes out..If the £55m fee agreed between Palace and Man Utd is to believed that seems incredible price to pay and instantly puts Trent Alexander-Arnold in £90-100m category
AA is probably the best right back in the league at 20 years old and probably the best crosser of the ball in the league as well. Add the fact that he's English to that and in nowadays market he's probably worth quite a bit more than you've just put up.If the £55m fee agreed between Palace and Man Utd is to believed that seems incredible price to pay and instantly puts Trent Alexander-Arnold in £90-100m category

he is pheneomela going forward-teriffic crosser of the ball..TAA is a snip at £90m in today's money. The guy is next level and will easily be the best full-back in the world in a few years, if not approaching that already. Could watch him all day, think he's fantastic.
Wan-Bissaka is very good defensively, but hasn't really offered much to suggest he's anything like worth that money going forward - which is what matters for full backs these days, especially at big clubs.
we've told them on your bike with their interest in Diop and Ricehe's a good player, but football is fu**ed ! if you develop a decent player, you get one season with him, then the big boys come calling, and snap them up ! gone are the days of us minnows keeping hold of anyone
we will proably never see another kp scenario at our club sadly !

young is captain this season isnt he? he has played right back a lot-but is he not more a left back? and they obviousy dont view him as the main right back if they are paying £55m for a right back..Ashley Young started 30 league games for them last season compared to Valencia's 6. Young is their main RB with Dalot behind him. Releasing Valencia was sensible - he is done.
As neither Young nor Dalot is good enough they are signing AWB.

my point was-they made yong captain and gave him a contract-so presumabl se ehim as having a first team future-yet are signing a right back for huge money-implying they dont see yoing as a right back first team option?Valencia was club captain but has just been released and rarely started games anymore. I assumed that is who you were talking about. Young is likely be club captain this season and recently signed an extension much to the annoyance of many Utd fans.
He played LB a lot because Shaw was injured/shit/fat for a long time. When Shaw stopped being injured/shit/fat - and won PotY IN 18/19 - Young switched over to RB as he is better than Dalot, Valencia and Darmian even though not great himself. He is also right footed. You'd assume Darmian will finally leave and with Valencia released United clearly need a right back.
Whether £55m for AWB is the right one is the only question.

both for even more than this tranfer
