A Yes Man

It's garbage that they're looking for someone that will work within the setup, far rather someone come in that hates the way we operate and kicks off nonstop, thats far more conducive to a successful setup.

I have nothing against Dodds, he is clearly very good at what he does. But head coach is not what he does so its a disaster every time he is put in this position.

If he’s still in charge at Bristol next week it would be half tempting to stay in the boozer
Are you gannin like?

What even is a "yes man"?

Why is a "no man" more preferable to some?

Do people actually think this is a thing?

Some on here have convinced themselves that Speakman/KLD or whoever just want someone in charge who’ll pick who they decide to put them in the shop window, happy to bump along in the Championship whilst turning a profit and no ambition.

They can’t get over the fact that this is how football is now, the average shelf life of a manager is 18 months. Several clubs have gone to the wall, loads more are close to it.

It makes zero sense to keep hiring and sacking different coaches and backing them with their own players only for a poor run of results see them gone and then rinse and repeat.

The club hierarchy clearly want a coach, who’ll play good football and winning football but will work within the constraints they set.

Mowbray will have definitely had a say in at least Dack being brought in and he’s been either injured or ineffective since he got here.
