A victory for freedom of speech.... and sanity

The trans person I worked with used the ladies. No idea what her genital situation was, none of my business. Had canny tits like.
Well there you go, in most cases you'd hope no one would care.

But in legal ruling you have to come down on the side of one or the other.

And I don't think it's correct to say I can declare on monday I'm a woman with zero effort to be one and just start using the ladies and you have to accept that or your guilty of a hate crime.

Unisex bogs mate, it'll fix everything.

There needs to be a legal line, the op should be the line imo because we a) shouldn't encourage trans people to only go part of the way, particularly when medication is being used and b) because I sympathise with women who say men can take advantage of this and go into women only spaces.

Gender fluid and non-binary as well as the 69 other genders are bullshit, scientific studies have backed this up.

I know 2 trans people and they are absolutely fine, even if they weren't I would still be the same. I call them both by the names they prefer as a kindness, I have absolutely no problem with it. But they don't use the other genders toilets because they know that's unfair on others.

The world shouldn't adapt to you more than you adapt to the world.

I'm sure the same was said about disabled bogs.
And that was 13% of the population, 44 times as many people.

That was also because disabled people literally couldn't or would struggle to use the normal toilet.

Transgender people can use the toilet just fine.

Was it 13% when it became the norm?

It doesn't matter.

I dream of every bog being a disabled bog that anyone can use.

Edit: Transgenderism seems to really outrage the more, er, excitable elements of the opposing 'sides' for some reason.
The permanently outraged seem to have a huge problem with vegans anarl. There’s a bloke at work who rants about it on a regular basis. Imagine if anyone were Trans-vegan. Carnage.

It depends on how rude you are being, if you are being abusive or harrassing then no that isn't freedom of speech.

If you are citing your opinion on a public figure or group of individuals then that is freedom of speech.

it's to do with how targeted it is.

For example if I was stood outside your house shouting i think you're a cvnt.... that's harrassment, arrest me

If I wrote on my twitter page I think you're a cvnt, that's rude but it's freedom of speech
its not freedom of speech at all. its rude
if you were to say, I don't like the way you mow your lawn because of xyz. that's freedom of speech.
to a certain extent it is rude as well, because it has noting to do with you how I mow my lawn (unless ajoining neighbours)
freedom of speech was more a political term to allow others to disagree with rulings. it has now descended to the minutest detail in somehow to justify an argument.
same as human rights. very similar to being offside by a toe or a heel.
somehow that's how people were allowed to Brexit voters stupid, thick, uneducated, racist northerners
some people were extremely rude about it. tv companys made programmes with rather unfortunate looking people about why they wanted Brexit and it was done with the intention so some remainers could insult those people in order to justify the stupid uneducated etc comments
Imagine the police coming to his work to check his thinking.
from the way I read it, the complainant traced him to his place of work.
if somebody makes a complaint to the police, the police have to act otherwise somewhere down the line somebody will make a complaint especially somebody with an agenda
I suspect that reading the article, some cop has tried to right off this off but he has been told to by his supervision / crime recording team that the police need to identify "his thinking" before closing the complaint.
the bobby on the beat does not have enough time in the day, to consider what somebody is thinking re trans
its down to the trainers of these courses (as mentioned) as well. they think their word is law and it is not allowed to be challenged. they are normally outside organisations who see a chance to make a few £ and further their agenda.

I dont doubt that police have a very difficult time. Just that somewhere down the line the system has gone wrong if the police go to a persons place of work to check there thinking on such matters.

Different altogether imho. Provisions for disabled was do they could take a full part in society. Maybe trans people could use the disabled shitters. Then women can keep their own spaces.

It would be hilarious if it wasnt so sinister. Check your thinking

What did the Nazis do with attention-seeking contrarians with inflated egos but not the intellect to back them up? Not nice things I would have thought so a return to fascism wouldn’t end well for you.
I’m not being funny Frijj but on numerous occasions you’ve shown yourself up by jumping into an argument two footed only to be corrected by someone with a greater knowledge than yourself on the subject.

You seriously don’t seem to understand the implications of this kind of police activity and how stating objective facts can now be considered hate speech. It’s not about what the person is saying or who that person is as much as the principle.
Imagine the police coming to his work to check his thinking.
It absolutely astounds me that some people don’t find this incredibly disturbing.

Do you get some sort of alert for this type of news? Seriously! Seems like a waste of time mind if the OP is accurate.

Its in The Telegraph For fucks sake

Back in the eighties we'd hear about the Russians sending people to camps for "re-education " when they were considered to have thought things against the state. I'd always considered that quite chilling and was thankful we didn't have anything like it in a free society

Over the past few years we seem to be going down the same line.
Think or have n opinion considered "wrong" by others and you can literally be sent for very similar to this re-education

Worrying

It would seem you need to grasp a better definition of what freedom of speech is.
May I point you to the first amendment of the US constitution

It's an incredibly slippery slope.... and doesn't work either.

It's been proven time and time again, the best way to get people to change their minds on something is to challenge them on it, not censorship
