A quick review of the last 10 years or so.

Minor adjustments

Roy Keane - only buys players he knows and couldn't manage bigger name players.

Steve Bruce - tactically boring and wasting money on soso players

Martin O'Neil - no plan b and negative football.

PDC - off his f***ing tits.

Poyet - tactically ept good manager who completely changed the second season when he wasn't backed and after we got hammered away at Southampton.

Dick advocaat - way to cavilier in the way he played when he was not backed

Big Sam - Did ok with what he had

Moyes - shite all ends up.

Grayson - shite but a keeper would have made our results much better

Coleman - shite but again a proper keeper would have saved us.

Ross - did ok to begin with but couldn't handle the size of the club and lacked leadership.

Parkinson - who knows.

2009 - Bent upfront. Beachballs scoring goals.
2010 - Hammering Chelsea 3-0 away Bolo dancing like a stud.
2011 - Pasty sacked, Pissing the league under O’Neill
2012 - Lots of losing under O’Neill. Invest in Africa
2013 - Norwich at home, the worst recorded football match ever. Paolo Dirty Knees
2014 - Wembo, Bardo @ OT, 3-0 at SJP, Johnson at SJP, 8-0 vs Southampton, Altidore
2015 - Defoe.... ermmm
2016 - 3-2 Chelsea, 3-0 Everton, Fat Sams one england game. Anichebe at Bournemouth
2017 - Shite
2018 - Shite but with nice seats
2019 Wembo, Wembo but still in limbo.

Sorry like, but not a chance that is gonna be anything like a our new shirt as the sponsor isn't crudely hiding a previous one

A decade of decadence, delight, then decay and despair. From muddy knees at sid james, to red faces at London road.

And the future? Look to the twitterati, and keep thy fingers crossed.

Roy Keane - only buys players he knows and couldn't manage bigger name players.

Steve Bruce - tactically inept

Martin O'Neil - tactically inept, no plan b and negative football.

PDC - off his f***ing tits.

Poyet - tactically ept good manager who completely changed the second season when he wasn't backed and after we got hammered away at Southampton.

Dick advocaat - couldn't set up a defence, way to cavilier in the way he played.

Big Sam - probably the best of the bunch and the only one we wanted to keep when he left.

Moyes - shite all ends up.

Grayson - shite but a keeper would have made our results much better

Coleman - shite but again a proper keeper would have saved us.

Ross - did ok to begin with but couldn't handle the size of the club and lacked leadership.

Parkinson - who knows.

I've made this list purely to compare with them all really, once a manager has been here a year you find all their flaws. Maybe we could have just backed a few of them a bit more instead of insisting that they're shit and tactically inept or we don't like how they stand on the side of the pitch.
Wanted Advocaat back so badly flowers were sent to his Mrs.

disagree with Bruce, should never have been sacked. That’s why we’re in this mess, sacking manager after manager after manager

If we never sacked Poyet we'd never have fell into League one... Even if we got relegated from the Premier league with him, I believe he would have built a team to return to the Prem more capable of sustaining Prem football

Agree... If we never sacked the vast majority of them we'd have never fell out of the championship in the catastrophic manner we did

Just about covers it.

Eh? If you think we should’ve kept every manager why single out Bruce?

not every single manager. Some deserved to go and some didn’t.
Out of all the managers on that list who did get the sack he is the one for me that deserved it the least though.
We’d finished 10th, our highest finish in the 10 year stint, lost a load of our better players in the summer and lost bent in January.
Granted his signings weren’t great but they were cheap in comparison to the amounts we’d raised in player sales.
The money wasn’t invested back in the team well enough to sustain us. We were always going to struggle the following year and struggle we did but we were out of the relegation zone and I had no worries about us staying up I was that confident.
Then we brought in the dinosaur that is O’Neill which was a crackers appointment and a backward step but he was worshipped like a god on here.
For me the decision to sack Bruce was the beginning of the end. Always fighting an uphill battle from then on.
Few highlights like the league cup final in the following years but the majority was utter shite
Keane and Bruce were our glory days
