A question for Trans-Rights activists

If I had to fuck a bloke I'd want one that looked like him in the dress.
I laughed and our lass stuck her neb in.

So I've just shown her what you said and she reckons the "guy" looks so camp and effeminate he's probably got a micro penis but the jaw on the "girl" suggests he's packing.

She then went tell your mate I'd fuck the girl too and wandered off to bed

I thought the "guy" was a girl?

Graham Linehan first got politically active on Twitter during 'Gamergate', when a bunch of misogynist male gamers objected to female influence in the gaming industry. Many of them morphed into the alt-Right pro-Trumpers. And a few of those were at the forefront of the new brand of trans-activism. It's become an issue in which the alt-Right and the Woke leftists have found common cause.

That is complete and utter bullshit. Graham Lineham himself was called out as being misogynistic for saying a feminist gamer was a 'stupid ill informed woman' when she called him out.

But he didn't say she, specifically, was stupid and ill-informed. He said women who subscribe to a misogynistic hate group are stupid and ill-informed. Of course, nuance and context is completely lost in this debate, and for that reason he should have been more measured in what he said. But given the viciousness of the attacks he's been under lately, the slightest misstep is going to be used against him. More than that, he's being goaded into missteps.

No matter. It is a fact that he was one of the few celebrities who stood up for women at the outset of Gamergate, and it is a fact that he is standing up for the interests of women now.

Unless you believe that 'women' is an intrinsically pejorative term, there's nothing wrong with what he said. Similarly, if someone is being an idiot, it's not remotely sexist to call them out for it.

He specifically called her an "idiot" and all women who disagreed with him on the subject "stupid" and "ill-informed". As for nuance and context, she's a feminist gaming blogger stating he was wrong. Do you think her view should be dismissed the way Linehan does?

Depends on her view imo marra. Nuance and context and all that.

does this actually effect anyone on here? or anyone that anyone on here knows? in anyway that inconveniences their life, at all?

its all very clever, subliminal divide and conquer tactics by the 'powers that be' to keep us plebs fighting amongst ourselves, over inconsequential matters.

Immigrants, Benefit Claimants, Teachers, Nurses, Lefties, Right-wingers, snowflakes, gammons, non-straight, patriotism, socialism, environmentalists, vegans, catholics, muslims, cyclists, nimbies, do-gooders, Social Justice Warriors, masculinity, feminism, etc............ all are 'everything thats wrong with the world these days' in some shape or form, whilst the rich get richer

Not personally at the moment but it’s having a major impact on certain women and women’s sport. Men using new methods to push women to one side again.

If we end up going down the Canada route and implementing criminal offences for using the wrong pronouns etc then it will do for everyone.

so whats the other option? for instance in the sporting examples you allude to? its possibly effecting a handful of people, but seems to take up endless amounts of column inches (as do all of the other groups i mentioned)

Did he really? It says "misogynistic hate group that included women" not all women who disagree with him.

women's sport should be open to biological women only. It's not that difficult a concept to grasp.

i agree with that. but what can 'we' do about it? and as a discussion point, why do you think that the authorities seem to be muddying the waters? surely if they said 'biological woman only' in womens sporting events, nobody is going have any grounds for complaint?

We can do nothing but it seems very simple to draw a line. Elite women's sport would be ruined within a couple of generations by unscrupulous governments and clubs exploiting loopholes.

As Harry says above, trans athletes shouldn't be allowed to compete in women's sport, thats an easy one to fix.

How you fix the wiser issues I honestly don't know. There are some genuinely unfortunate cases where they might feel they dont fit anywhere but there are cases like Jessica Yaniv that show the dangers of opening up womens only spaces to anyone who identifies as female.

Personally I believe the whole thing needs some real, honest thinking. As other women on this forum have said, they have the right to define what it is to feel like a women based on their experience of growing up. No person who grows up male can say they "feel" female because feeling female cant be defined like that. This is proved by the amount of people who end up detransitioning or killing themselves after transitioning. They're confused, in some cases mentally ill and think that transitioning will help them and often find that it doesnt. I think we'd be better spent trying to help these people come to terms with their issues rather than providing hormones, surgery and trying to bend society to fit their needs.

But people do complain and there's a backlash that follows. Most organisations are scared to take a stance like that.

But why are they doing it? Who is gaining? Surely they aren't fundamentally changing the sport because a few people twisted on about it on twitter?

I think it's more sinister

He went after Count Dankula for that nazi pug joke ffs, oh how the chickens are coming home to roost.
Give it a while and I suspect there will be a separate category for Trans Athletes.
There has to be, I mean someone who has been a man for most of their lives should not be competing at womens sport.

Ever heard Joe Rogan talk about the trans lass who became an MMA fighter?
Fallon Fox she’s called. Take a look at hannah mouncey and rachel mckinnon too. The pictures of mouncey just show how ridiculous the situation is.

To be fair fox has been beaten since that podcast but it still kind of proves the point. She’s not talented enough to compete against males or females but her physical advantages meant she wiped the floor with several women’s fighters. They couldn’t get near her.

It’s the only fair way but suspect it wont wash with certain people. I mean who’s going to watch it? There’s no money in it.
