I recently discovered what has become my favourite - violet jam. From Jenners food section in Edinburgh. Divine.

Edinburgh? My friend went to Jenners this week to get a jar for me (and her) and she said they didn't have any. Been elbowed to make room for the usual festive stuff. Normal service in January, probably. I hope. I was extremely disappointed.

Yes I would. It's ruined my week, sad but true. Let me know when they get it back in! It's addictive stuff. I think I was all over the Internet for it but the price is ridiculous. Cheaper to have a trip to Edinburgh.

Butter always on toast whatever the topping. However on a sandwich I can go dry or just use mayo or branston I'm a free spirit that way.
