I wonder what the Sayers think of it . I’m guessing they had an oversight of the the film being made and a preview before it went out .Just finished watching this on the back of this thread. Where to start
The American detective
The judge in a plastic bag wig
It just starts off bad and goes downhill with every scene, Its jaw dropping for all the wrong reasons.
Absolutely horrific, that Italian restaurant scene is one of the worst pieces of cinematography in the history of film
I couldn’t work that out either . All I noticed was some skinny little , Italian speaking bloke who owned the clubs called Vic who Stephen Sayers suggested would fight Duffy which made no sense at all . I presumed that Vic was Viv but it was a strange casting if it was ??Haven't finished it yet, was that Vic supposed to be Viv Graham? The scene in the Italian restaurant was cringeworthy, trying to make it look like a scene from the Godfather.
Didn,t the reverands house get trashed just after this got released? Maybe the yank copper could put 2 and 2 together and work out who done it.I wonder what the Sayers think of it . I’m guessing they had an oversight of the the film being made and a preview before it went out .
I would have thought that when they viewed it they would have had the same opinion as the rest of us and realised that it makes them look ridiculous and does nothing for their image .
An actual decent filmmaker , with the true script and the money to back it up could have made a very good film .
A lot better than the smear campaign suggests
A New Breed of Criminal" delves deep into the darkest corners of the gangster underworld, set against the haunting backdrop of Newcastle. This film is an unapologetically brutal exploration of life outside the law, with intense violence and chilling performances that will grip you from start to finish.
Prepare for an uncompromising portrayal of the harrowing consequences that come with crossing the line. The characters' descent into darkness is depicted with merciless realism, leaving an indelible mark on your psyche.
From the atmospheric setting to the bone-chilling cinematography, "A New Breed of Criminal" embraces the shadows, immersing you in a world where there is no easy way out. Brace yourself for a dark and gritty gangster thriller that pulls no punches.
I was very impressed with the story line. Some very good performances. The little guy with the mohawk was spendid fun.
For the limited budget its a really good effort. Do not let the jealous section of society deter you from a very good film.
