A kick in the teeth for beer lovers

I've never been that bothered about what lager I drink. As I don't go out to get pissed I don't worry about the strength either. I don't like drinking beer or lager that's out of a can and only buy bottled. I rarely see bottled fosters so never drink it. But if it was readily available in bottles I'd buy it if it was on offer.
The worst lager I've tasted in my life was that Guinness hop stuff, it was rank. I thought Hofmeister when I first tried it in a Reading pub was the worst, or Sam Smith's Taddy lager. The Guinness lager easily topped them both.
Sam Smiths is absolutely minging like.

Never drank it for many years, but bought four cans to mix with my bottle of cider from Tesco last night.

Pointless mixing a premium lager if you’re just having a few snakey’s in the house.

Exactly marra. These hipsters think they are clued up paying 17 quid to drink a pint of Bilbo’s Cock Rot while they twirl their moustaches. That’s all well and good when you only need to pay out the rent for your studio flat and a bus pass every month. The clued up gadgies need to balance beer costs with financing 6 bed detached houses and a stable of modern classics.

Pay day not until Saturday, so 2ltrs of Crofters Cider and 4 cans for about £7 hit the spot!

They’re slowly making every beer alcohol free I reckon.

Gradually dropping the abvs bit by bit year after year.

What if you want a nice strong beer / lager ffs it doesn’t make you an animal.

With the rise in all these craft ales and lagers over recently years I bet it’s actually easier to hold of stronger beers now than it was years ago when your Stella’s and whatnot had a higher strength. You’re spoilt for choice these days if you want a strong beer, some of them are daft percentages for a beer in my opinion like.

Knars^

Newcastle brown Ale is just 4.7% and we used to think that was as strong as heck when we were young uns.

..All these craft brews have turned beer into a much different drink strength wise these days. I'd be on my back after four pints.

Just seen on there grolsch is 5% over there also, picked up a bottle in asda last week as I haven’t had it in yrs, noticed it was now around 4% so I put it back on the shelf.

Their pints are smaller tho!

Real gadgees aren’t financing anything but buy outright.
