A few players out tomorrow.

It's not an excuse if it's true. What do you want him to say? Everyone's fit as a fiddle. No injuries here...
‘We were beaten fair and square by Cambridge Utd, who despite being fifteenth in the table and with one of the worst defensive records in the division, bossed us all game and made us look like a bunch of fannies. I said a couple of weeks back that my only system has been sussed, and I’m too shit a manager to vary my game plan to counter the opposition or cope with poor pitch conditions, or to organise and motivate my players to an acceptable level.
I will be leaving my position immediately and will find an L2 club mug enough to employ me.’

I see we have reached the stage where we are complaining about him answering questions, putting words in his mouth to get upset about and blaming him for things he can’t possibly avoid;
Yip. It's beyond pathetic. Performances and results are enough to have a pop yet still some insist on looking into EVERYTHING he says as a way of having a pop. Madness.

You know when it gets to this stage though he’s basically a dead man walking.

If we don’t win tomorrow he should go.

It starting to feel that way, but there’s no way to know what Speakman/KLD are thinking about the situation. He might be safe as houses.

We need a convincing win tomorrow.

The sad thing is, I'll be surprised if we win. Cambridge have only lost 2 games out of 10 at home this season.

Well fingers crossed these are worse than Cheltenham or Crewe, just can't see a win myself never mind a convincing one.

Really positive, supportive comments fro LJ throughout the press interview. Thank heavens we’ve got someone who can talk sense, take a balanced view and encourage his young players to learn from experience when winning, drawing and losing. No panic but calm determination and a belief that we can improve.
