A disgrace to the shirt

You’re having a laugh though marra? Stubbs joined us in the summer, played a handful of games, saw how bad we were but instead of being up for the fight, he f***ing deliberately downed tools to the point where he was dropped - coward.

Cheat - blatantly angled for a move back to Everton and was even filmed by Sky sitting in their bloody stand. Final straw was him celebrating Tim Cahill’s late winner against us, whilst still picking up his wages here. He’d fucked off back to Everton by January on a free, and we all know what happened to us at the end of the season! Absolute arsehole - almost Rodwellesque. Bardsley was Mother Theresa by comparison to Stubbs.

I'm not defending Stubbs at all. I'm saying by the definition in the OP Bardsley is comparable to Stubbs, they both openly enjoyed our pain whilst being employed by the club.

My mate played for Barnsley against us at Oakwell so we had tickets into the player’s lounge (aka portskabin). Terry Curran got subbed for us on 80 minutes. The game was crap, we were losing and the beer was free so on 85 minutes we headed for the lounge. When we got there Curran was sitting at the end of the bar with a pint and a chaser within 5 minutes of being subbed. He really didn’t give a s***.

Quite a few, but not gonna look up and count them.

But a Sunderland player, paid £30,000 a week by Sunderland, laughing at a Sunderland defeat. Total inexcusable disgrace. No clapping or respect from me, sorry.

Depends how you interpret it, I have my take on it, obviously you see it as a personal insult.

Got pissed. Drove. Killed a girl. Paid a fine over prison time. A fine that is about 4 days wages.

It was before he joined us, but the case was (i think) finally closed afterwards.

Given the publicity Lee Hughes gets, its f***ing stunning this gets little air time

Agree in principle, but I think this is more about disgrace how they represented us as footballers rather than outside the game and how much of a disgrace they are as people. In both scenarios mind I still thinks Adam Johnson tops the list, though Byrne, Short and others played a part in allowing that disgrace to happen.
