A cashless society

how far away are we from a place where cash isn’t used?

I always like to have some cash on me, but rarely if ever use it (buying the odd paper from the local shop). Everything else is just tapped these days, quicker and you don’t have to fanny on with change

Apparently Sweden is nearly there

Do you want cash to remain?

And nobody told me before I went there.

I was walking round with Big Daddy paper unable to spend it.

Laughing at you and your flimsy reasoning mate ;)
I haven’t heard a down side yet. There have been tech downtime of course, but this is becoming more and more robust.

No one would consider a paper ticket on the underground now, it’s all just tap. No one goes into a bank branch now, it’s all online or on your phone. No one buys cds now, it’s all streamed or downloads

Yet a cashless society will still never happen...
