i think they're trying to let the batsmen dictate the bowling, so they wait until the batsman makes a move and deliver a ball to that...
but that doesn't give you enough time to make a decent decision on what ball to bowl, especially with the less experienced bowlers.
what happened to bowling full and at the stumps, the 'if you miss i hit routine'...? sure you might go for 2's or 3's but not 4's or 6's and definitely not no balls or wides...
we make the game too hard and too complicated.
