He was good for most of the second half of the season at right back, so he'll probably be pretty good at wing back as well.We already have.
Good is a stretch. He did alright. He shouldn't be our first choice right back, right wing back or right anything going forward. He was good for most of the second half of the season at right back, so he'll probably be pretty good at wing back as well.
I thought he done a good job going forward and defensively but I would rather see him get a chance in his proper position, where he was signed to play. I'm not sure at all about this formation mind but I suppose we'll see how it goes.Good is a stretch. He did alright. On the odd occasion. Too many times he looked like little boy lost near the centre line. I don't blame him - it's not his position. I just don't think he's cut out for it on a permanent basis. To me, it would be another failing of Ross's if he continues with him there - unless of course the lad's made a miraculous improvement since the end of last season. You don’t know What they have been instructed to do if they are running about like blue arse flies they aren’t gonna be central when we win the ball back people said exactly this with maja even when he was scoring calling him lazy etc when you have 5 bodies in midfield including the wingbacks you want your striker in and around the box not charging about all over the pitch
The service is awful man a blind man can see it balls rammed down their throats neck height with back to goal or slow ponderous passes into feet
yeah i was saying before, im not too convinced on any of our wing backs, we need on both sides imoNot so keen on O9 at RWB mind. But we seem a little thin in both wingback positions.

What are you waffling on about? I said I doubt there's been much improvement in him. I've explained why he doesn't look up to it. The alternative? Short of bringing another RB/RWB in we're a bit thin on the ground, but personally I'd prefer to have a look at McLaughin as a RB in a back four, with O'Nien nowhere near the wing.I think Chrissy is having doubts now ...unless hes improved giving himself a getout clause.Thing is old gadgies like me used to say its much easier to throw stones than build a wall don't hear it nowadays ,but sums up a lot of opinions on here these days .People will give their idea of a player without saying who they would put in their place. Sermon over htl
I heard Hume had a bit of a torrid time on Saturday like. Tad worrying, though by all accounts his opposite number was quite handy anarl.yeah i was saying before, im not too convinced on any of our wing backs, we need on both sides imo
Or switch that McLaughlin to RWB and play TF on the right of the back 3What are you waffling on about? I said I doubt there's been much improvement in him. I worry that we have no other option there, especially given Hume's injury last season.
If we must. Like I say, personal preference would be a back four.Or switch that McLaughlin to RWB and play TF on the right of the back 3
Ross won’t stick to this formation for long anyway. We played 60 odd games and he didn’t have a clue of his best side or formation in May. I agree with you on O9. He’s not a fullback. Bought as a goal scoring midfielder and should be given a run of games there. If it turns out he’s poor then move him on. We were crying out for his energy in MF last season. Just a shame the manager bottled playing him there. If we must. Like I say, personal preference would be a back four.
Possibly a victim of his own (limited) success. Ross will have loved the fact he came in and did a reasonable job for him, and there's always been question marks over Matthews' attitude and application - not to mention his injuries. I would have like to think we would move on from the the idea of O'Nien playing there unless absolutely necessary though this season.Ross won’t stick to this formation for long anyway. well thats it. there isnt any cover at all. Gooch isnt a WB. Hume im undecided i think. Canny going forward (he wasnt on saturday) and suspect the other way. Love us 2 bring in at least 1 wing backI heard Hume had a bit of a torrid time on Saturday like. Tad worrying, though by all accounts his opposite number was quite handy anarl.

This could easily become the next Pure Football required test - a psychological assessment of individuals’ feelings, without actually meeting or speaking with them and all from observing them along with at least 10 others, probably from 30 metres away, during their participation in an activity that often causes swings of emotions, ranging from elation to disappointment and all undertaken by people with no qualifications in the subject of psychology.Any reports on the body language please?
Casual opinions only

Do we actually need to have witnessed the body language ?
I think that McGeady’s shoulders slumped after a well hit shot was deflected by a defender who knew nothing about it. I believe that this probably evidences a deep-seated schizophrenia founded in his having been born and raised in Scotland but having played for Ireland.
Also, Max Power looked distracted from his role in the team. I believe that this may be attributable to the resentment he has towards his parents for naming him so that he sounds like a setting on an electrical appliance.
I wasn’t actually there but I don’t think that this should diminish the validity of my amateur assessment.
