4th Ashes Test - Old Trafford

Let’s face it, the Aussies bowling has been very good in general throughout the series, they’ve got some incredible bowlers but we’ve been such a soft touch at times.

Things need shaking up quite a lot. New coach in, new captain, drop Roy and Bairstow for me and a couple others perhaps.

We thought we had a good batting line-up. In reality we don't have. Not enough Test standard batsman and for years Broad and Anderson have dig us out of trouble.
Yeah the averages are low put these lads in one day game and I’d be confident they would take on anyone. In the test format not so sure.

Bowlers have been good for years up with the best. If we had Anderson in with him broad and archer as the change bowler I would have had more confidence. I even think jimmy would have caused smith trouble.

Time to give a few of the lads who play county cricket a go. Have two complete different teams the limited overs team and the test team.

I also think the modern day player prefers the shorter game.

Buttler should be ahead of Bairstow
