4 points from safety, is it over?

Hull and Barnsleys game in hand is against each other if either wins it's game over for you lot

3 tough games coming up I think you will be effectively gone by middle of March

Once you get to 6 behind that' about it games are running out. If hull get 12 more points from now until end you need 16 to overtake them same with Birmingham. And I can see both of them getting 12 to be honest

Where you will get 16 from is open to debate

Shove it. What's any of this got yo do with you?

Hull vs Sheff Utd Friday - Sheff Utd Win
Birmingham vs Barnsley Saturday - Birmingham Win
Burton vs Millwall Saturday - Draw
Norwich vs Bolton - Norwich Win
Hull vs Barnsley Tuesday - Hull Win

Depends on the above, assuming we get beat off Boro and the above happens. That puts Bolton on 33, Brum 33, Hull on 32 with a miles better Goal difference, Burton 30, Barnsley 28 and us 26 needing to catch up 7 points, can't see us doing it.

What a day of sunshine you are.

"Us"? Mag.

The fat lady has sang and fucked off home already

Actually she’s been on a diet and is no longer fat.....there is no straw to grasp to indicate we can pull off a Uruguayan miracle

Aye it was over when we signed Lee Camp, Ashley Fletcher and Lua Lua

And let our most effective player leave in Grabban...and not replace him. Our squad is worse now than in December when we were a bottom 3 team, how can have been allowed to happen by the owner and the manager so meekly accept it.

No offence, but of course it's not over.

And given your recent past, you should KNOW it's not over.

Small detail, where is the Defoe, MVilla, Borini, Alonso, Kaboul, Johnson, Sessengons, Khaziris, even the Wickhams and Bentners..???? Can you see anyone having the impact of these player even if for a few games?

We have a habit of doing things the hard way.

It’s not over. It’s goung to be very difficult, and looking unlikely but it’s not over.

Personally I think its a really fair question. Youd have to ask where the next goal is coming form never mind the next point or the next win.

I think its all over. I cannot see anyway back for us. Its getting to the stage where we almost cant beat any team, anywhere, in any competition at any time. The experienced players seem to have had enough, the younguns seem to be shit scared and all in all it looks really, really bleak.

We are the worst team in the division, can't score goals, have no team spirit, confidence, skill or momentum and an owner who gave up years ago and zero chance of changing anything other than sacking yet another manager, which we've done about ten times in as many years it seems. We will be relegated with at least five games to go. Anyone who truly believes we can stay up must believe in the tooth fairy

New manager bounce? Even if we thought we need to go for a new one who could we get? I’m not advocating it because it is too late anyway but the current one seems to be sinking fast

Yes it seems this way, we need a focal point upfront to give us any chance, big Vic is available

I'm 56 now and for most of my time we have been second tier. I think we are doomed and if we stay up I can see us being in the championship for 20 years unless something major happens. I don't think I'll be too bothered if we got promoted back to premier league as it was just attritional shite. I only still go because I see a few good mates but if they stop I'll be finished!!!! It comes to us all. But then if we get two wins on a row I'll be back like a shot:lol:

This squad of players are simply treading water week in week out. They've given up on their employer because they are in a unique position where they are in an industry which still pays for failure. The manager is screwed because he doesn't have the funds and obviously not even the character to influence this group of charlatans. Just like the Moyes capitulation into the championship this will another one into league 1 and bottom again

We're witnessing total failure of the footballing side of the business as it is sacrificed in favour of debt repayment.
Any player of any interest to another club has been allowed to leave at any price to be replaced by players of no interest to any other club or juniors .
We haven't respected this league and we can't complain about dropping straight through it.

It's down to the Manager??

"If you think you are beaten, you are
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't ....It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!"

The good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy.

It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected.
