4 points from safety, is it over?

Same as last season. We had a number of opportunities to get out of it but we kept getting beat and completely nosedived

Is this a joke question?
I know we've been shite but 3 points is only alucky win.
Anybody from the bottom 5 are still in the shit but it's not looking good I'll give you that especially with Hull and Barnsley with a game in hand.

No, not over, but I want to hear from those that were at Bolton if they saw enough to suggest we can at least give it a shot, it sounded like we did at least put up a game this evening.

Hull and Barnsleys game in hand is against each other if either wins it's game over for you lot

3 tough games coming up I think you will be effectively gone by middle of March

Once you get to 6 behind that' about it games are running out. If hull get 12 more points from now until end you need 16 to overtake them same with Birmingham. And I can see both of them getting 12 to be honest

Where you will get 16 from is open to debate

It pretty much is 4 anyway without goal difference because Hull play Barnsley next Tuesday (both their games in hand), so it'll either be Hull on 32, pushing Bham down to 21st on 30 points, likewise if they draw, but Hull would just be on 30 points as well. If Barnsley win, they will be on 31 points and it will be Bham again on 30 in 21st, so technically as it is, we are 4 behind Bham with a similar goal difference, having played the same amount of games.

We were fortunate tonight with the other results. Obviously Bolton move 7 clear and looks very hard to pull that back, but Barnsley losing was a boost. You'd expect both Bham and Hull to lose away to playoff chasing sides, but it's good that neither picked up any unexpected points and Bham's goal difference took a bit of a battering which could be pivotal.

It's clearly an uphill task and we really needed to win tonight, but amazingly we are not cut adrift yet. We will need to win some unexpected games now though, ideally starting on Saturday.

We pretty much need the same upturn in form as you my friend :)

Still lost to be fair though to a relegation rival and at this stage of the season that's a killer. You'e failed to beat bolton,Barnsley and Birmingham over 6 games that's what will kill you off

Eh no you don't

I still enjoy the six in a row. FTM.

Does'nt work like that in this division pal, all about momentum, which albeit is a big ask but something to aim for. Enjoy your trip to Anfield, get a bit of momentum going fella ;)
