4/5 with bookies for promotion???

After that performance yesterday. Anybody got any views after just three matches if we will be contesting the two automatic positions or are we just a top six side and have to challenge for play offs.
 


Realistically, at this point odds on for promotion is a ridiculous price and based more on the money bet on you than an objective appraisal of your chances. To say that you're twice as likely to get promoted as Barnsley, for example, who have had a similar start is odd.
 
Us and Barnsley do look very strong after our relegation. Burton look okay but will probably be mid-table if not top half.

Portsmouth and Peterborough look strong as well.

Way too early mind, wait till around Christmas time to give a proper prediction.

Agree, too many variables at this point to make it an odds on shot.

It's still an unproven side at this point. Yesterday was five new signings and six players from the side that finished bottom last season and even half those players couldn't get a regular game.

One resounding win yesterday against a poor Scunthorpe side and a draw and a last minute winner in the two games before suggests we'll be competitive but not dominant in this league.

You're right, odds on for promotion after three games is a ridiculous price, bookies these days are pathetic.

I think we are one of 4 for the top 2 but I wouldn't be touching that price

Bookies odds always reflect weight of money rather than objective view ?
 
We will win the league, we haven't even got our first team players playing yet ffs.

There is nothing in this league to worry about. Barnsley only had 1 shot on target at the weekend & they ment to have the best forwards in the league.

Sunderland will be champions fact.
