Really enjoyed my first experience of Test cricket at Lord's yesterday, when it eventually got going after the rain. Whoever said it was what watching Test cricket is supposed to be like was spot on. Genuine cricket lovers from all walks of life mingling together. No one there just to get bladdered, paying no attention to the game, seemed everyone had a love and passion for the game.

Interesting how they seemed to do alright under lights in the dark with no pink ball. Is it really needed? Wouldn't fancy it myself mind but they are 100 times better than me!

How I wish we could have cricket during every safc game this season.

I got very drunk on champagne, met Chris Lewis, accidentally went to a Shoreditch establishment on the way back to King's Cross and eventually got home then went to the village pub.

It's a good job Her Royal Wenchness is Up North doing the GNR it I'd be in a spot of bother this evening stinking of cheap perfume etc......

To me that sounds like: pissed on the Champers, bit Toot, accidentally visited a brothel(s) and went to the local for a few calm downers after a very busy day. Very civilised. Oi tips me hat guvnor.
