This is f***ing pathetic.

Captain Cook with another stunning display of top order hitting, strike rate under 70 ffs.
 
Yes...agree - don't care for him either...but he is spot on.

Can't understand why Cook keeps persisting with one day cricket,must be a stubborn streak.

He is a class test match cricketer and I believe he will come good again in test cricket,but in this modern cricket world he is never in a million years what you need at the top of the order in one day cricket.

As I said before....we've learned nothing. India not good at tests. We not good at ODIs.

Yeah spot on mate,to think before the series started India were second favourites was going to have a bet,but could not bring myself to do it as India's horrendous displays in the tests were still fresh in the memory.

Have to say I don't think there is anything wrong with having a steadying influence at the top of the odi order. Work a single off every ball and you score 300 after all
