Mitchell Hazelwood, Mitchell Cummins and Mitchell Paine all expected back. Barry Starc still has a sore heel but plays. We should be unchanged.

I wouldn't mind drawing this one tbh. Off to Perth on Thursday for the last game and wouldn't mind the crims having to win it.

Anyone else staying up?

Don't know how long I'll last but will have it on after the Spence fight

Crims win toss and put us in. They're terrified.

Fuck sake we can't score ATM. Half way way through the innings and 250 looks a long way off.

they've played well so far, we don't seem to know where to hit the ball unless it's a boundary. can't or don't want to score singles.
Has Morgan actually scored in the last 15 mins?

First 6 of the innings in the 27th over.

Aussies have stitched us up with a slow pitch here but we're getting there. Above 275 and we have a chance.
I bite your arm off for 275 as things stand like.

Fuck. Morgan gone 41.

Time for Modern to stand and deliver.

the test pitch here was slow as well...

cracking drop by white there.

It was brilliant in the way it succeeded at being even worse than the shot. Fuck sake, Roger Federer would have been proud of that lob.

Ali you f***ing tit. Piss off home man.

For test they need to prepare a pitch that lasts 5 days. Poor pitch for a crowd expecting fireworks but maybe a closer game as we've been winning too easily :)

Poor by Ali but the ball just stuck in the pitch and didn't get up. That said his bowling has been great in terms of runs per over.

fuck that, he needs the next qantas plane to heathrow
Agreed. Then taxi to a hypnotherapist.

Seriously, it's not like he has some technical deficiency that's being ruthlessly exposed. He's trying to do mental things, which then end the way mental things usually do. It's in his head.

He just needs a good therapist to convince him that his beard is evil. Then he cuts it off. Simple.

(I'm drunk and these opinions may not reflect those of my brains)

Need to somehow get to 280
Buttler has to go large now. Woakes needs to hang around and chip in.

Oh bloody lovely Joseph Buttler.

Buttler & Woakes vs Starc & Cummins

Needs to deliver 10 an over.

Woakes 6 f***ing get in lad. 250. Haway.

It was worth staying up tonight just to see Joss lob the keeper. I don't even know what to call that shot.

Haa haa Joss dropped by Zampa.

Oof take that. 16 in 3 balls for the mighty Joss. Ton on.

Hahaha Joss out, overturned on appeal.

98. Come on you beauty.

Gerrin Woaksey lad. 4.

Gerrin even more Wokesey. 6. Half ton up.

Wow, what a fantastic finish to the innings. Great stuff by Buttler and Woakes. Both hitting tremendous sixes and fours, just reached a ton and a 50.

Buttler played test cricket for his first 60 runs. More like Joe Root tip and run.

Game on but we're clear favourites now.
