It's about time we got our finances in order.

Can't wait till we win the financial cup
if the lens transfer goes through at the reported fee, that's how much we've received in transfer fees this summer.

And there's still no money we're told. How long before we see protests at home games?

Wish we could get money for Kone added to that soon. Bugging me that the #### is still here picking up big wages after the disgrace of last season.

We spent £8 million of that on Alvarez. I imagine the rest goes on the fact that our income has fallen massively and we are over £100 million in debt?

Unlikely we would have no club, you must agree. Speaking of Portsmouth, a bloke from Walt Disney completed a takeover of the club today. Another American who is looking to make money, or loves football, what do you think? A Walt Disney executive for Gods sake.
Fitting Portsmouth is a mickey mouse club.

-£180M in debt + £35M = -£145M

Thats still massively in debt

Is it really that difficult to just read a few basic articles that tell you how much debt the club is riddled with?

We have been relegated. The revenue for the club takes a massive hit and we were already losing money hand over fist with the PL revenues. The club is in a f***ing mess so unfortunately we have to try and get cash in to significantly lower the debts and hope to still be able to recover some how and challenge to return to the Premier League.

Stop talking bloody sense.

But we haven't received that lump...it'll be received in installments.

Can't stand Short but it's going to take a few years before all the high earners we still subsidise are fully off the books. Short has given up pumping money in, that's his choice but we have to ride out the shit period of transition or till he sells the club.
Could be worse, he could have just pulled the plug and let us rot like the lot at Blackpool have.
