Many managers change the system depending on the opposition. Maybe he wanted to give it a go but then realised quite quickly we don't have the players to pull it off.
We spent the whole of last season hoping that our one good player would score for us out of nothing - first it was Maja (who wasn’t even going to be playing until Wyke got injured) then McGeady.Sounds good but do you not get the impression that every time Ross makes a change of system he does so with his fingers crossed behind his back. People are often accused of being clueless but having spent all summer trying to introduce a system it really does seem that Ross is clueless if he ditches that system after a game and half. Some may give him credit for being pragmatic but after 60 odd games you'd think he'd know his best system. We have to hope that McNulty and McGeady start to really turn it on to spark some life. I'd also love Wyke to come good.
