352 formation.

Go back to playing without a striker. Get on top of teams
Batter them.
Then bring a striker on for 20mins at the end

Clarke is the only productive winger we have, so playing 3-5-2 with him as the only winger would be fine.

As would having O'Nien as one of 3 centre half's who presumably would be given license to foray forward.

As well as having full backs in Cirkin, Hume and Huggins who could go on the overlap.

And a couple of central midfielders like Neil and Ekwah who could play box to box.

Where it would fall down is we haven't got two lads who could play up front effectively.

But if Cirkin was fit, i'd go for..

..............................Patterson................................
..........Seelt................O'Nien.............Ballard............
Hume.............Neil....................Ekwah..............Cirkin
...................Hemir.................Mayenda.............Clarke

This team built using only our fit players

——————Patterson
——-Seelt Ballard O’Nien
Hume —Neil —-Ekwah Huggins
Roberts——- ?* ———-Clarke

*whichever striker Mowbray randomly selects that day

Just need to stick with 11 players and get them used to playing with each other rather than constant changing. Our best team / formation when fit is Patterson; Hume (RB), Ballard, 09, Huggins (LB); Roberts (RM), Neil, Ekwah, Clarke (LM); Bellingham; Rysyn. Our best tactic is pushing the fullbacks on to support the wide midfield players, having Ekwah sitting deep, and allowing Bellingham to drift. If a player is fit then keep playing them through the inevitable dips in form young / skilful players have. If a player is injured then replace like for like and keep the rest the same. Simples.
Evans?

Just to mix it up at bit for a few games to give the opposition something different to think about and create a different dynamic between midfield and up front.

As a starter for 10....

Patto
Hume, Ballard, O9 (cirkin /alese in when fit)
Huggins and Clarke (slightly dangerous defensively I know) as wingbacks
Ekwah, Neil, Pritchard (or Bellingham)
Burstow and Mayenda (Rusyn if fit)

Its a bit of a gamble but the current system is broken so why not try it.
I agree, but why play a full back who can play as a wing back in the middle, back three of Ballard, onein and Seelt or soon alese or Cirkin. Middle Hume , Neil, Ekwah/ Bellingham/Pritchard, Clarke, and Huggins, up front Mayenda and Rusyn. There would be decent options on the bench.

No good, still only one forward.

Looks like three to me.

I would have thought you of all people would have absolutely loved it

Clarke is not a WB - he's played OK there at times, but the more he's played its evident he's an out and out winger. In this formation you'd effectively be removing our most potent attacking threat.
