Baring in mind:
Two new signings costing over £20m quid
One of which is possibly the most impressive signing we've made post WW2
And we haven't had a home game since the middle of May and don't have another 'til mid September
And Martin O Neill is our manager...
...and anything under 35k is shameful. If we get anythnig under 30k then please can we no longer pretend to be a big club?

Well said this lad f***ing pathetic if we dont have a good crowd in there tonight especially for the price of the tickets which people cant winge about.

How many would Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool get for this match?

1 new signing. Adam Johnson didnt sign and was never going to sign.

Big clubs with better players than Sunderland have had crowds less than 30k in the early rounds of the league cup many a time.

For the record, there will be more than 30k there tonight IMO

Couldn't you have stayed on that camping holiday a few weeks longer Jarvis?

You know the one, the one where you didn't have any mobile phone signal.

Theyd sell out mate

Man United failed to sell out against Ajax in the Europa League last season and Ajax had a massive contingent IIRC. They often dont sell out in league cup matches and have arguably the biggest fan base in the world.

Newcastle would push 40k in similar circumstances, if not more
