14000 empty seats then..
You can barely get 18,000 into your shit hole of a ground.

See you in a few weeks for your cup final.

I wonder if you get anywhere near selling out the full allocation.
Eh?

And with COVID to contend with. Then you have whoppers suggesting it isn't good ffs
It’s funny how these whoppers don’t actually go to the match yet slag off the attendance. Strange behaviour.

No very flat all night. Happens sometimes... You can always tell even when walking to the stadium.. Weird how sometimes us the fans are up for it and other times we're not, even with a performance like that.

The atmosphere was buzzing at the beginning - if it fell flat it was because it was over as a contest after 40 minutes. The second half was a non-event as a sporting spectacle.
Portsmouth ffs

It'll be interesting to see how many they bring up this time. Maybe the novelty of travelling to their imaginary rivals will have worn off for some of their more intellectually-challenged fans.

Just thought I'd have a look at how they're doing attendance wise...

They're only sixth best supported with an average of 15.1k.

We have an average of 30k.

Our home support this season is - statistically - 100% better than Pompeys.

It was Hettonlass who seems to be keen on attendance figures for home and away, but Ive just been told they had up to the corner, so sounds like bum info and more like 4k ?? Apologies, was just passing on what was reported on here. Though it must have been their allocation and the Wednesday fan who will possibly now disappear :p, didn't correct it. In fact they said we should be giving more than the original allocation.

In the pre match attendance threads it was our tickets sold plus 2821 on every post including last nights.
We sold out the first allocation of 2800 I think on the first day, was hoping for more but they weren't offered - a bit irritating as we gave Sunderland the whole Leppings Lane End earlier in the season. I'm a member not a season ticket holder so got nowhere near to getting hold of one.
My mate is a Sunderland season ticket holder, so he ended up getting me a ticket in the Sunderland end. Bizarrely I ended up in the away end as a steward directed me to an away turnstile, then when the scanner didn't accept it they just let me through! Lucky really, not sure I would have coped watching that from the home end!

It seems quite a few Wednesday fans didn't actually make it due to a bad crash on the A1. There seemed to be plenty of space. I was told by a steward that I couldn't sit on the back row, then they just ignored all the ones in the gangways, which was very odd.

Anyway cracking atmosphere, there were a few lulls in both ends, but overall it was very good. When you got going you were very loud. It just turned into a gallows humour atmosphere in our end for the last 20 or so.

Anyway good luck for the season. Hopefully we'll bounce back from that and make the play offs, but probably not. 2 clubs that should be nowhere near League One.

The argument of percentage of sell out is the shittest argument ever.

We are getting double your crowds. Maybe we could lend you half our crowd for the next game? We’d still bring enough down to probably make it the biggest of your season.
We will send them our 14k empty seats. If they could be temporary fitted they could have 17k empty.

As a long term fan, we often could not sell roker park out with a capacity of 22k so I call bullshit - it's a decent effort better than 9 premier League teams record attendance this season!
Also as a long term fan in the middle of a pandemic and with the game being moved a day and it being a 3rd tier game, 34k is a great attendance from both home and away fans.
