What are you comparing to tho?
A 3pm boxing day kick off in the prem?
34k tickets sold/given away is fantastic. It's a Thursday, covid rampant again, big spend for Christmas and New Year coming up. It is remarkable. But there wasn't 34K bodies in there tonight, no way, 34k is about 70% capacity, there was too many empty seats for that.

Where do you get your 2,821 figure? I believe you but what's the source?
It was Hettonlass who seems to be keen on attendance figures for home and away, but Ive just been told they had up to the corner, so sounds like bum info and more like 4k ?? Apologies, was just passing on what was reported on here. Though it must have been their allocation and the Wednesday fan who will possibly now disappear :p, didn't correct it. In fact they said we should be giving more than the original allocation.

In the pre match attendance threads it was our tickets sold plus 2821 on every post including last nights.

As a long term fan I can't help think 34k for the Xmas home game ain't that good?...... Tin hat / mag accusations pending. Maybe I'm just old.
There’s always one fuckin tosspot.

I thought it did look a fuller than previous games this season tbh. Mind I guarantee some with season tickets will have covid so you'll be right.
