Hospital deaths appear to have flatlined
(and for the benefit of the emoji bore, we are discussing hospital deaths only)

Here's a thought, early on it was said that a lot of the care home deaths were turned away from hospitals so arguably understating the potential hospital deaths. Is this still the case? If not then it would explain the flatlined to a certain extent. As the all settings rolling average is still showing a steady downward trend.

Jesus it’s not dropping at all now. Why are we so badly affected on this. Europe practically rid of it.
We didn’t lock down soon enough and we were not strict enough when we did. We also turned a blind eye to the VE Day parties three weeks ago and that weekend is feeding into today’s numbers. We should not be relaxing anything yet.

When did we lose the ability to think for ourselves? It is out there for all to see how bad this virus was and still is, yet we still see the some of the public hell bent on carrying on as normal then blaming the government. Of course they have made mistakes but if people just actually though things through themselves we could have reduced this impact further.

What's that thing you say to kids when they get into trouble because x person also did it. If someone told you to jump off a cliff would you follow?

Never been more apt.
