I’ll say:
Curtis Nelson
Mo Eisa
Chuks Aneke
15 goals last season for an attacking midfielder playing in the Championship suggests otherwiseWow, that is an awful realistic signing, since he isn't. At all.
He’s too good sit on the bench, but he’s not good enough to keep our first choice centre backs out of the team, he’s too old for us now too, so he’s off to pastures new.
Wouldn't touch Maddison with a barge pole, Clarke is off to the Premier League.Whats the 3 you'd most like to see.
For me they would be:
Freddie Ladapo
Marcus Maddison
Matt Clarke
Maddison and Clarke would be difficult to get but money really does talk at this level and if we want to go up next year we do have to spend some. Ladapo we should be able to get out of Plymouth at a decent price.
Which Premier League club is after him?Wouldn't touch Maddison with a barge pole, Clarke is off to the Premier League.
Brighton.Which Premier League club is after him?
Yes very unrealistic. Would have been high on the list if we got promoted though.Spot on, why i said selling him is unrealistic
He is. We're not laughing cos he's shite, we're laughing cos he's completely unrealistic
Hes nee where near as good as the 2 lads they've got. He'd struggle to get a game, his bank balance will be better thoughBrighton.
Brighton i heardWhich Premier League club is after him?
It's an odd one but they're seemingly after him anyway. Centre half I'd go after is Curtis Nelson and suspect with our owners' Oxford connections we will be.Hes nee where near as good as the 2 lads they've got. He'd struggle to get a game, his bank balance will be better though
If their clubs are happy for them to go back out to league one we need to make sure we're at the head of the que for these 3 without a doubt!Wilks and Kane from Doncaster were good and both loanees, so we could approach them for another go in League One. Likewise Enobakhare at Coventry, who will be going back to Wolves.
I would also move Grigg on at a loss. Might be harsh on only half a season but we need upwardly mobile players who can make the step up. We can’t just buy players for the league we are in, we need a strategy that involves future signings complimenting the place, not an upheaval every year as it is a self fulfilling prophecy of failure.
Too old? he's only 25. Saw him a few times when on loan at Hartlepool, classy, composed , gets the job done centre back, not sure if any better overall than Baldwin though
Stoke want himWouldn’t mind Lee Gregory from Millwall if we go one up top, probably going to move to a different Championship club on a free transfer though!
I think we’d struggle to have him move down a league.Wouldn’t mind Lee Gregory from Millwall if we go one up top, probably going to move to a different Championship club on a free transfer though!
