It won't now. Bit foolish to suggest taking less than 4 wickets in the opening session would deem the instertion a failure. What about 199 all out just after tea, but 90-1 at lunch. Is that still a failure?Jimmy fired up

By which time it will start to reverse. Very little seam movement in cricket these days anyway. It's all about the swing

Disagree. Broad hardly swings it and Anderson has got a lot of success with a wobbled seam in the last few years.
Lords pitch plays as has been suggested. Flattens out pretty quickly and then breaks up towards the end.
So you don't know then?
Agreed, just showed a pitch map and there were loads of balls on the good length and hardly any in the full section. Need them on the front font. At the minute they can leave it on length because it will swing away.
